A 2016 “In Memoriam” notice placed in a local newspaper to honor are residents who were members of the “30th of May Club.”
Their human form is gone forever, their spiritual one shall live forever. Each left his own indelible mark; a friendly smile, a special wit, an attentive ear and helping hand. All sadly missed and fondly remembered.
It is not known at the time of this writing what exactly the “30th of May Club” was established for, or in what community or communities in the Lykens Valley it was active.
