Edgar George “Ed” Clough (1906-1944) – Professional Baseball Player

Edgar George Clough was born 28 October 1906 in Wiconisco, Dauphin County, Pennsylvania, the son of Richard Clough and Mary E. [Snyder] Clough.

He was a professional baseball player [as Ed Clough] for the St. Louis Cardinals in the National League for seasons 1924 through 1926.  He was only 17 years old when he started playing.

His baseball statistics can be found at Baseball Reference.

Ed Clough died on 30 January 1944 in Harrisburg.  He is buried in the Calvary United Methodist Church Cemetery, Wiconisco.
