Sacramento – Grave Digging Receipt, 1930

A receipt for the payment of $15 paid by Ray Kroh to S. A. Buffington Funeral Director, Sacramento, Schuylkill County, Pennsylvania, for the service of digging the grave for his father, Emery Harrison Kroh, and removing excess ground, at the St. Paul (Artz) Cemetery, at Sacramento.

Emery Harrison Kroh was born 20 March 1892 in Hegins Township, Schuylkill County, son of James Kroh and Cecelia [Harner] Kroh.  He married Katie S. Levan (1895-1990).  Emery died 30 July 1930 in Hegins Township, but had lived most of his life in Hubley Township, where he worked as a farmer.
