Summer 1948 photographs documenting a visit of the first and second grandchild of William E. “Bill” Dietrich and Helen [Hoffman] Dietrich (1895-1977) to Specktown, Lykens Township, Dauphin County, Pennsylvania.
The photographs were taken on the lawn of the Riegle-Dietrich homestead. The building pictured (believed to be an outhouse), was removed by the State when New Specktown Road was cut through the property about 1950.
The wagon and tricycle shown were part of the collection of “toys” that Bill and Helen Dietrich provided for their grandchildren.
