Grave Marker.  Joseph C. Welker was born 12 May 1922 in Dauphin County, Pennsylvania, and was killed in action in World War II at the Battle of the Bulge, 15 January 1945.  His remains were returned to the U.S.and he was buried in Calvary United Methodist Cemetery in his Hometown of Wiconisco, Dauphin County, Pennsylvania.  The story of his death is found at his Findagrave Memorial #112084853.
