Roxie Weaver (1878-1962)

Roxie Weaver (1878-1962) was a Mulatto who was named in the census as a servant who lived with Conrad Zimmerman (1842-1930), a Civil War veteran, for the last 30 years of his life. When he died, she was the informant for his death certificate.  Roxie Weaver is buried next to Conrad in the Zimmerman family plot in the Halifax United Methodist Church Cemetery, Halifax, Dauphin County, Pennsylvania.

It appears from information in the Harrisburg newspapers that Roxie Weaver may have inherited property from Conrad Zimmerman, some of which she disposed of in the early 1930s.

No evidence has been seen that she was related to Conrad either by blood or marriage.  Additional information is sought about Roxie.
