Edward A. Riegle
BAINBRIDGE – Edward A. Riegle, 85, Bainbridge, died Tuesday afternoon [1 March 1960] in a convalescent home in Columbia following an illness of six months.
A former teacher in the Dauphin and Lancaster County schools for 15 years, he had been a railway mail clerk residing in Harrisburg until his retirement in 1936.
He was a member of the Sixth Street Evangelical Congregational Church, Harrisburg.
Surviving are his sister, Mrs. Walter A. Evitts, Lansdowne, and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Friday at 10 a.m. from the funeral home in Bainbridge, with the Rev. N. S. Hoffman, his pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Maple Grove Cemetery, Elizabethville. Friends may call at the funeral home from 7 to 9 p.m.
