MRS. KATE S. ROMBERGER
Mrs. Kate S. Romberger, age 94 years, a lifelong resident of this community [Elizabethville], died at the Kepler Convalsecent Home on Friday, following an illness of several months.
Mrs. Romberger was a daughter of the late Michael Keiper and Sarah [Sheesley] Keiper, and was born in Washington Township. She was married to Albert M. Romberger who had conducted a store here for many years, prior to his death in 1948. Mrs. Romberger was a member of Trinity Evangelical United Brethren Church, Elizabethville.
Survivors are one son, Earl K. Romberger, Elizabethville; four grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.
Services were held from the Buffington Funeral Home, West Main Street, at 2:00 o’clock Tuesday afternoon. Rev. Frederick P. Brandauer, pastor of Trinity E. U. B. Church officiated and interment was made in Maple Grove Cemetery.
