William C. Wert (1864-1938) – Retired Millersburg Merchant

WILLIAM C. WERT

William C. Wert, age 74 years, a retired Millersburg merchant, died at the home of his daughter, Mrs. John Hoy, at that place, Monday morning.

Survivors are his wife, Mrs. Abbie Wert, two sons, Mark Wert of Coburn, Pennsylvania, and Homer Wert, of Millersburg, and three daughters, Mrs. Lester Hoy of Harrisburg; Mrs. Ray Kepner and Mrs. Hoy, both of Millersburg.

Funeral services will be held from the residence at 2:30 o’clock this Thursday afternoon. Rev. C. L. Mogel, pastor of the St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, Millersburg, will officiate, and interment will be made in Oak Hill Cemetery.
