This was the original dwelling of Squire George Klinger. It was built of logs over a spring and dates to about 1795. Photo by Irwin Klinger.
Addition information about George Klinger:
George Klinger, Esq., was born in Reading, May 13, 1761, the son of Philip Klinger and Elizabeth [Beilstein] Klinger. George built a log house in what is now Hubley Township, part of which is still standing, and raised his family there.
