A 1919 photograph from the Tremont Homecoming Parade, Tremont, Schuylkill County, Pennsylvania, for World War I veterans. This float is of the Red Cross workers who participated in the parade. The two memorial posts on the float have the initials of the two men who made the ultimate sacrifice, “I. F. B.” for I Frank Berman, and “H. K.” for Harry Keip.

The float was built on a Packard truck owned by the Philadelphia and Reading Coal and Iron Company, and the men who decorated the float were: Ernest Miller; Charles Seltzer; Charles “Sammy” Miller’ William Neyer; Ray Neyer; Clayton Schell.
