An undated portrait of Jacob M. Boyer, who was born in Dauphin County, Pennsylvania, in August 1868, the son of John E. Boyer (1841-1895) and Mary [Moyer] Boyer (1844-1927). On 9 April 1893, he married Carrie May Boyer (1873-1846) in Gratz. She was the daughter of John Franklin Boyer (1853-1935) and Amelia M.[Good] Boyer (1849-1922)
Jacob was a farmer and school teacher in Lykens Township, Dauphin County, Pennsylvania.
He died on 6 September 1943 in Lykens Township. Carrie died in 1946.
