A photograph of the west end of the restored Pennsylvania Railroad Station in Lykens, Dauphin County, Pennsylvania, taken in August 2008. Note that the “Lykens” sign on the station is not in the familiar style and colors of the Pennsylvania Railroad.

In the above photo, the street to the left of the station is Arch Street and the street to the right of the station is South Second Street.
Moving west and looking back at the station, the modern buildings to the immediate right of the station are situated on the yards of the railroad, which at one time included a roundhouse and turntable, a water tower, and other support structures.
Looking west from the restored station, the paved-over roadbed can be seen. The large modern building in the center of the photo is the Lykens Fire House Club. The next stop on the line heading west was Oakdale, or Loyalton.
Finally, a view of the south-facing side of the restored station, from South Second Street.
