An undated photograph of the first railroad station of the Philadelphia and Reading Railroad at Trevorton, Northumberland County, Pennsylvania. The railroad stop was on the Herndon Branch of the railroad.
The view is probably from after the Civil War. The men on the platform are not identified.
This station probably served both freight and passenger needs until a larger station was built. Miners from the collieries in the Zerbe Gap used this station to get to and from work from points between Shamokin and Herndon.
