From Frank Heiser in Philadelphia, former Tremonter, comes this photo of a Tremont football team, taken about 1911. The names he supplied are:
Front: Frank Heisler; William Long; John Schneider; George Marks; Charles Reedy; —–?—–; Robert Crawford.
Back: Earl Schoffstall; “Botz” Hoff; James Neal; —– Moyer. In front of Moyer is Henry Leidich, at his right is Claude Mease, and standing at extreme right, William “Billy” Moyer.
The younger lad in the grandstand Frank thinks is a Bernd boy.
Picture was taken by the late Jim Walker on the old Tremont baseball field.
