Hubley Township High School – Thomas Henry, 1940

A portrait photograph of Dorothy Straub, a 1940 graduate of Hubley Township High School, Hubley Township, Schuylkill County, Pennsylvania.

“Sonny” is all er ever call this member of our class.  He plays a saxophone, and in spite of Sonny’s handicap (that is his eyes) he is the jolliest member of us all.  “Sonny” is quite interested in music, in fact, he has in his Senior year composed and orchestrated a waltz.  He has been very active in all school musical affairs, and everyone of us is sure Sonny will get along in this vast world of ours.
