This photo appeared in the “Down Memory Lane” feature of the Pine Grove Press Herald, October 27, 1977.
The young ball players were identified as follows:
Front Row: Harold Gickler, bat boy; John Butler; Earl Herring.
Back Row: Clarence Moyer; Ike Hoover; Fritz Butler; Ralph Kreis; Harvey Pearson; Henry Kramer; Ben Reinoehl.
According to Mrs. Ruth Moyer, who loaned the picture to the Press Herald, the only two who were still living in 1977 were Ralph Kreis and Earl Herring.
