W. H. Uhler – Pharmacist of Lykens, 1908

W. H. UHLER, Ph. G. – PHARMACIST

It is only natural that confidence be placed in a druggist who is thoroughly educated in his business, but when this important essential is supplemented with a well established reputation for conscientious effort and enterprising methods, the success of one engaged in this business, can be readily understood. A graduate pharmacist, thoroughly skilled in every department of his specialty, Mr. Uhler has always been sufficiently actuated by the spirit of the times to keep abreast in all that materially contributes to the convenience and comfort of his patrons, and today his store lacks nothing to render it popular and attractive. The business is conducted on strictly up-to-date lines, and the drugs and prescription requisites are being constantly renewed to insure freshness and full medicinal strength, A full line is carried of proprietary remedies, pharmaceutical preparations and specialties, druggists, sundries, tobacco and cigars, while a soda fountain and telephone booth complete the store’s facilities. Mr. Uhler is a graduate of the Brooklyn College of Pharmacy, Class of 1896, and during the three and a half years he has been here has borne a well earned reputation as a good, careful and conscientious pharmacist. He is thoroughly progressive and enjoys the confidence of both practicing physicians and the community in general. Mr. Uhler is a member of several fraternal organizations and is classed among the active and successful business men of the borough.
