A photographic post card from about 1919 of Flossie Rebecca [Evitts] Kline at the Evitts’ farm in Lykens Township, Dauphin County, Pennsylvania, with her husband, Jacob Alexander Kline, of Millersburg, Dauphin County.
Flossie was born 10 February 1892, the daughter of William Evitts (1854-1928) and Sarah [Daniel] Evitts (1859-1925).
Flossie married Jacob Alexander Kline in July 1919. It is possible that this is their wedding photograph.
Jacob A. Kline was born on 27 October 1895 in Millersburg, the son of Charles Alexander Monroe Kline (1861-1917) and Amelia [Enders] Kline (1866-1931)
She died on 28 September 1919 at the Harrisburg Hospital of complications resulting from pregnancy, and is buried with her parents at the St. Peter (Hoffman) Cemetery in Lykens Township.
After Flossie’s death, Jacob re-married. He died on 27 January 1963 in Mercer County, New Jersey.
