William D. Erdman (1863-1941)

WILLIAM D. ERDMAN

William D. Erdman, age 77 years, died at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Howard Klock, at Erdman, Thursday afternoon [24 April 1941].  He was a retired farmer and had resided in that community most of his life.

Survivors are a son and four daughters:  Victor Erdman; Mrs. Joseph Weary; Mrs. Howard Klock; and Mrs. Allen Snyder, all of Pitman; and Mrs. Charles Troutman, of Wiconisco.

Funeral services were held from the residence Monday morning, with further services in the Union Church at Pitman.  Interment was made in the adjoining cemetery.

The obituary appeared in a local newspaper at the time of his death.
