Mary R. [Hain] Mattis (1852-1941)

MRS. MARY R. MATTIS

Mrs. Mary R. [Hain] Mattis, age 88 years, widow of Solomon S. Mattis, died at the home of her daugther, Mrs. Bertie Fairchilds, in Millersburg, Sunday [17 September 1941].

She is survived by three daughters: Mrs. Fairchilds; Mrs. Mable Barry, of Fisherville; and Mrs. William E. Reed, Halifax R. D.; and one sister, Mrs. Albert Brubaker, of Millersburg.

Funeral services were held from the Fairchilds residence Wednesday afternoon, Rev. C. L. Mogel, pastor of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, Millersburg, officiated, and interment was made in the Oak Hill Cemetery.
