FUNERAL TODAY FOR VALLEY VIEW PASTOR
Rev. Edward T. Sheets [ k.a. Ebbert T. Sheets], 57, pastor of the Valley View Charge of the Church of God, died at his home in Valley View on Saturday [26 December 1942].
Rev. Sheets was a native of Enhaut, and formerly served pastorates at Goldsboro, Duncannon, New Providence, Marysville, and Lakemont.
Survivors are his wife, Mrs. Margeretta [Adams] Sheets; one son, Morrell Sheets; one granddaughter; a brother, Rev. W. S. Sheets, of Saxton, Pennsylvania; and a sister, Mrs. D. I. Staud, of Hershey.
Funeral services will be held in the Church of God, Valley View, at 2:00 o’clock this Thursday afternoon, and interment will be in the Church Cemetery at that place.
