Isaac Keboch (1854-1945)

FUNERAL FRIDAY FOR AGED BERRYSBURG RESIDENT

Isaac Keboch, age 91 years, died at his home in Berrysburg Monday,

Mr. Keboch attended the Berrysburg Academy and earlier in life was a public school teacher.  Later he engaged in farming, and was identified with civic affairs of his community many years.

He was a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church, and was affiliated with the P.O.S. of A., Odd Fellows, and Knights of the Golden Eagle lodges.

Survivors are two sons, Dr. Edwin C. Keboch, of Harrisburg, Executive Secretary of the Methodist Board of Education of the Central Pennsylvania Conference; Perry H. Keboch, Berrysburg; and one daughter, Mrs. Walter C. Kocher, of Berrysburg.

Other survivors are three granddaughters, Mrs. George D. Headley, Bloomfield, New Jersey; Mrs. Walter Kinsinger, Silver Springs, Maryland; and Mrs. G. William Buffington, Elizabethville; and a great-grandson, Richard Headley, of Bloomfield, New Jersey.  Another son, F. D. Keboch, died last January.

Funeral services will be held from the home of his daughter, Mrs. Walter C. Kocher, in Berrysburg, at 2 o’clock Friday afternoon, Rev. P. O. Reitz, pastor of St. John’s Lutheran Church, will officiate, assisted by Rev. Levan Zechman, pastor of the Lykens Valley Reformed Charge.  Interment will be at Berrysburg.
