TOWER CITY PHYSICIAN DIED SATURDAY
Stricken ill while playing tennis near his home, Dr. David J. Hawk, age 55, died suddenly Saturday afternoon. Dr. Hawk had been a practicing physician in Tower City nearly thirty years.
Survivors are his mother, one brother, George W. Hawk, of Sayre, Pennsylvania; and two sisters, Charlotte Hawk, and Mrs. Robert Phillips, of Tower City.
Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon. Rev. I. F. Frankenfield, pastor of the Tower City Lutherans Church officiated and interment was made in Greenwood Cemetery at Tower City.
