The introductory page states the following:
The following careful transcript of the marriages, burials and baptisms on the records of Salem Church, Elizabethville, has been made by Mrs. Carol Keys under the direction of the undersigned. There seem to be no earlier records existing from this congregation. [sig] Frederick S. Weiser. September 1971.
The register is 50 pages in length and is indexed by surname (11 pages).
The originals were transcribed at the Lutheran Theological Seminary at Gettysburg, Adams County, Pennsylvania, and microfilm copies were first made available to churches, libraries and the public. Several years ago, the transcribed pages were also digitized and uploaded to Ancestry.com, where they are searchable and can be attached to Ancestry.com family trees as documents.
