Anna C. Radel (1926-2022) – Judicial Secretary of Commonwealth Court

ANNA C. RADEL

WICONISCO – Anna C. Radel, age 95, of Camp Hill, passed away May 10, 2022, at Penn State Health Holy Spirit Medical Center.

She was born on June 27, 1926 in Wiconisco, Pennsylvania the daughter of the late Earl Radel and Lillian [Watkins] Radel.

She is survived by several nieces and nephews and great grand-nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by two brothers Earl Radel and John Radel and two sisters Eleanor Wolfe and Sara Spangler.

She was a member of the Mechanicsburg Presbyterian Church, and a member of the former Olivet Presbyterian Church, Harrisburg, for over 50 years, and also where she served as an elder.

She was a 1944 graduate of the former Wiconisco High School, and a member of the Wiconisco Alumni Association.

She was a retired Judicial Secretary to the Honorable Genevieve Blatt of the Commonwealth Court of Pennsylvania. She was a member of the Commonwealth Court of Pennsylvania Historical Society. She was a member of the Patriots Circle of the National World War II Museum, New Orleans, Louisiana, honoring her two brothers who served in World War II, and also a founding sponsor of the Flight 93 National Memorial.

A funeral service was held at Calvary United Methodist Church, Wiconisco on Friday, May 13, 2022 at 11:00 am. There was a visitation prior to the service from 10-11:00 am at the church. Burial followed at Calvary Cemetery, Wiconisco….

Arrangements were cared for by the staff of Minnich Funeral.
