Daniel H. Riegle
PALMYRA – Daniel H. Riegle, 73, of 976 E. Fir St., died Saturday in Buffalo Township, as a result of injuries caused by an auto accident.
He was a retired production control supervisor for the former Olmstead Air Force Base, Lower Swatara Township, and Tinker Air Force Base, Oklahoma, and also retired from K & G Hardware; was a member of Palm Lutheran Church, the Optimist Club, International Order of Odd Fellows in Lititz, American legion and VFW posts in Palmyra, Cornwall Furnace Historical Society, AARP, Golden Arches Breakfast Club, Terrace Mountain Landowner’s Association, and the National Association of Retired Federal Employees.
Surviving are his wife, Beatrice K. Riegle; a son, Barry D. Riegle of Palmyra; four daughters, Bonnie L. Herr and Cindy L. Gibson, both of Hershey, and Dixie J. Barto and Wendy L. Hunking, both of Palmyra; and 11 grandchildren.
Services will be held at 10 a.m. tomorrow in his church. Burial will be in Gravel Hill Cemetery, North Londonderry Township.
Viewing will be from 7 to 9 p.m. today at Rothermel Funeral Home, and from 9 to 10 a.m. at the church.
