A cut from the 1875 map of Lykens Township, Dauphin County, Pennsylvania, shows the location of the 116 acre farm of Daniel Hawk. It is located in the northwest corner of the township.
This land was part of a larger tract known as Solitude, which was patented to Philip Rousculp in 1790.
