Earl “Slappy” Brown of Orwin

SCHUYLKILL MEMORY LANE QUIZ

Clue: This week’s photo, taken more than seventy years ago, shows a resident of Orwin. He has put many a young boy back on the road.

Answer: The little chap in last week’s photo was Earl “Slappy” Brown of Orwin, who fixed many, many bicycles for boys and helped them “get back on the road.”
