Elizabethville – Cook’s Livery, 1905

A notice from Charles W. Cook, of Cook’s Livery, that appeared in the Elizabethville Echo, Elizabethville, Dauphin County, Pennsylvania, on 13 July 1905:

Cook’s Livery

My Conveyances and teams area at your service.  My buggies and other vehicles have not been occupied by small-pox patients, and any reports of the kind are false.  I have added a ‘bus, or carry-all, just the thing for picnic, or other parties driving out for a pleasant time, and I am once more at liberty, and ready to accommodate everybody.

I have set apart a buggy for my own use, which should be a guarantee that all patrons are perfectly safe.

CHARLES W. COOK, Proprietor.
