According to information in the Bicentennial Program Book:
Swab Wagon Company was founded in 1868 by Jonas Swab, 149 years ago. Swab Wagon is well known for producing vehicles from farm wagons to fire apparatuses. Swab continues to produce custom vehicles today, such as fire, medical, and animal transports for commercial use. They also do restoration to antique fire apparatuses.
