INJURED DURING MILLERSBURG FIRE
During the efforts of the Millersburg Fire Company to extinguish the fire which destroyed the Halifax Chair Seat Factory, located at Millersburg last Thursday morning, one employee of the firm was injured.
Budd Beistle was injured while he was carrying out material from the burning building, receiving a cut on his arm which required several stitches to close. Fifteen employees of the firm were in the building at the time and some of them jumped to safety by jumping from second story windows. The origin of the fire is believed either to have been defective wiring or spontaneous combustion. Due to the inflammable materials, firemen found difficulty in combating the flames, which caused a $25,000 loss.
