ERMA STONEROAD
MILLERSBURG – Erma Stoneroad, age 101, passed away May 08, 2022, at Kinkora Pythian Home in Duncannon, Pennsylvania.
She was born on September 24, 1920 in Millersburg, Pennsylvania, the daughter of the late Charles E. Lenker and Cora [Bonawitz] Lenker.
She worked at Muskin Shoe factory, she operated a grocery store from her home, she enjoyed knitting, crocheting, quilting, and making crafts. She was a member of the Zion Lutheran Church, Rife, Pennsylvania.
She was preceded in death by her husband Oscar Stoneroad; 2 sisters, Marie Lenker and Pauline Lenker; and 3 brothers Edwin Lenker, Donald Lenker, and Jim Lenker.
She is survived by her 2 children, Glenn Stoneroad of Millersburg, and Dawne Ritchie and companion Richard Leeser of Saxton, Pennsylvania; and 6 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great grandchild. She is also survived by her sister Grace Warfel of Millersburg.
Visitation was on Sunday, May 15 , 2022 from 6PM to 8PM at Hoover-Boyer Funeral Homes Ltd, Elizabethville and again on Monday May 16 from 10-11 AM. Funeral services started at 11AM. Interment was at her church cemetery in Rife following the funeral service.
Arrangements were cared for by the staff of Minnich Funeral.
