First Summer in Specktown, 1944

A summer 1944 photograph documenting an early visit of the oldest grandchild of William E. “Bill” Dietrich and Helen [Hoffman] Dietrich (1895-1977) to Specktown, Lykens Township, Dauphin County, Pennsylvania.  The baby carriage was in the family for many years at the Riegle-Dietrich homestead and was taken out of the attic for use as each new grandchild arrived – six in all over the years until 1956.
