Survivors are his wife, Mrs. Evelyn [Fogelman] Buffington, a son, Floyd Buffington, of Elizabethville, and two daughters, Joanne Buffington and Nancy Buffington, both at home, and four grandchildren.

Others survivors are three sisters, Mrs. H. Eugene Davis and Miss Emma Buffington, both of Washington, D.C., and Mrs. Gertrude Wagner, Philadelphia, and four brothers:  Herbert Buffington, Joseph Buffington, Ralph Buffington, and Paul Buffington, all of Elizabethville.
