GEORGE W. ETTINGER
George W. Ettinger, age 77 years, died at his home in Millersburg last Friday evening. He had been on failing health for more than a year.
Mr. Ettinger was a native of Halifax and was a former canal boatman and lumberman. He had at one time resided in Perry County and Indiana and was a resident of Millersburg for thirty years. He was a member of Grace Evangelical Church of that town.
Survivors are his widow, one son, William E. Ettinger; two daughters, Mrs. Naomi Witmer, Mrs. Harry Halderman, and three grandchildren, all of Millersburg, and a brother, High Ettinger of Harrisburg.
Funeral services were held from the Minier Funeral Parlor in Millersburg, Tuesday afternoon. Rev. W. E. Potteiger, pastor of the Millersburg Evangelical Church officiated and interment was made in Oak Hill Cemetery at that place.
