Gratz News – March 19, 1926

The following news briefs were published in the “Gratz Items” section of a local newspaper for the week of 19 March 1926:

Mrs. Mary Daniel visited in town, Wednesday evening.

Jacob Riegel has occupied his recently purchased store and is doing a nice business.

Harry Schlegel moved to Middletown.

Herbert Hartman moved into his new house.

Mrs. Sarah Scheib is on the sick list.

James Kissinger, who was confined to bed, is up and around again.

Harry Hess has purchased a new radio.

The tunnel is started.

Ralph Troxell, wife and daughter of Hegins, are visiting in town, at present.

Wilbur Hoffman is in the cigar business.

Charles Hess is keeping bachelor’s hall at present; his maid is on the sick list.
