Harry W. Hoke & Sons on Horseback

An undated photograph identified only as “Harry W. Hoke and Sons on Horseback.”  The location is probably the Hoke farm in Mifflin Township.

Harry W. Hoke was born on 8 September 1885, son of Jonathan “John” Hoke (1864-1952) and Ellen [Stoneroad] Hoke (1860-1933). He lived most of his life in the Elizabethville area, including Lykens Township and Mifflin Township, Dauphin County, Pennsylvania.  Harry died on 11 August 1868 and is buried in the Maple Grove Cemetery in Elizabethville.

On horseback are his two sons, John F. Hoke and Albert W. Hoke.
