Golden Wedding
Family and friends will be honoring Mr. and Mrs. Harvey A. Deppen of Pillow, Saturday, 24 July 1965, on their 50th wedding anniversary at the Pillow Community Hall.
They were married at the Pillow Lutheran Parsonage by the late Rev. D. E. Fetterhoff of Pillow, fifty years ago 24 July 1915.
Mrs. Blanche M. [Hepner] Deppen is the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Charles Hepner and Silvia [Hoffman] Hepner. Mr. Harvey A. Deppen is the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Samuel Deppen and Jane [Schlegel] Deppen.
They are the parents of six sons: James Deppen of Halifax; William Deppen, at home; Elwood Deppen, of Millersburg, R.D.; Charles Deppen and Forest Deppen of Pillow; and Harold Deppen, deceased. They have one daugher, Beatrice Deppen, of Elizabethville, R.D., Mrs. Allen Shade, and have ten grandchildren.
Relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend at their own convenience during the afternoon hours from two to six in the evening at the Community Hall.
