FUNERAL SATURDAY FOR WILLIAMSTOWN HOTELMAN
John E. Geist, age 65 years, died in the Shamokin Hospital early Tuesday morning. He had been in ill health for some time.
Mr. Geist was a native of Northumberland County and had been engaged in the hotel business of Williamstown about thirty years.
Survivors are three sons and a daughter: Harry Geist, of Reading; Donald Geist, Harold Geist, and Henrietta Geist, all of Williamstown. Other survivors are a sister, Mrs. Lottie Troutman, of Selinsgrove, and two brothers, James Geist and Charles Geist, of Williamstown. His wife preceded him in death several years ago.
Funeral services will be held from the residence at 2:00 o’clock Saturday afternoon, and interment will be made at Williamstown.
