Kenneth R. Rickert (1926-1946) – Killed in Auto Accident in Germany

LYKENS SOLDIER KILLED IN ACCIDENT IN GERMANY

Mr.and Mrs. Guerney Rickert of Lykens, have been advised that their son, T/5 Kenneth Rickert, age 20, was fatally injured in an automobile accident in Frankfort, Germany, 23 November 1946.

The young man entered the army in November 1945.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by three sisters, Mrs. Willard Pierson and Mrs. James Sargeant, both of Harrisburg; Miss Romaine Rickert, at home; and four brothers, Guerney Rickert, Allen Rickert, and Harry Rickert, all of Lykens, and Pfc. Donald Rickert, in Germany.

The obituary appeared in a local newspaper at the time of his death.
