Loyalton – Oakdale Station Road, 2008

A 2008 photograph, looking west at the intersection of Route 209 and Oakdale Station Road & South Crossroads, Loyalton, Dauphin County, Pennsylvania. It’s also the location of the only traffic light in Loyalton.

In the distance, the dip in the road is where there once was a covered bridge over the Wiconisco Creek, a point where the road frequently floods.

The building pictured on the right was once a general store. It is presently undergoing a slow process of renovation as a residence. See:
