Lykens Man Found Dead in Hunting Cottage, 1946

FUNERAL FOR LYKENS MAN

Requiem mass for Albert Fritz Jr,., age 41, of Lykens, was celebrated in St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Lykens, at 9 o’clock Monday morning by the Rev. E. J. Shanahan. Interment was made in the German Catholic Cemetery at Lykens.

Mr. Fritz was found dead at his hunting cottage in Powels Valley Friday morning, where he had gone earlier last week to spend several days.

He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Agnes Eustis Fritz, two sons, Albert Fritz III, and George Fritz; his father, Albert Fritz Sr., of Lykens; and three brothers, Leo Fritz, of Philadelphia; and Dr. George Fritz and Paul J. Fritz of Lykens.
