If Hoffman Church, Log Structure Founded 1771, (or Built ?), I don’t understand Levi Buffington if born 1770 would of been 1 year old, If Levi born 1761 he would have been 10 years old….. Do I have the wrong Levi or am I missing something here?

Also: John Peter Hoffman Sr (1709) donated land for the church.
His 2nd son John Nicholas Hoffman donated land too. Is this two events or am I missing nothing again?

    Thank you,
    Confused
