An undated silhouette portrait of Mary Magdelena Keihner, the wife of an early settler of Gratz, Dauphin County, Pennsylvania, who was a carpenter and cabinetmaker. The surname is also found as Kiehner, but eventually evolved to Keener.
Mary Magdelena Keihner was born 26 March 1787 in Pennsylvania, and died 22 November 1850 in Gratz. She is supposedly buried in Gratz Union Cemetery, but no grave marker has been located. At the time of this writing, her maiden name was not known.
