The Millersburg Reamer & Tool Company is another distinctive and characteristic industry of the town, engaged in the manufacture of High Speed Steel and Carbon Steel Circular Metal Cutting Tools of all types for the industry since 1920.  It is THE ORIGINATOR AND MANUFACTURER OF THE FIRST SPIRAL EXPANSION REAMERS EVER PRODUCED.

The products manufactured are used extensively in the manufacturing field, as well as by many U. S. Government Agencies, large Aircraft Plants, and Atomic Energy Plants where service and accuracy are of prime importance.

At present there are 80 employees gainfully occupied in its factory and office.

During World War II, in the interest of security to the U. S. Government and its Allies, the plant operated 24 hours a day, 7 days a week for the duration of hostilities and was highly commended by the many U. S. Government and Lend Lease Agencies for the prompt, efficient service and consideration in keeping the steady flow of the very critical materials so necessary for a speedy conclusion of the conflict.
