On 24 February 1971, the Colonnade Theatre in Millersburg, Dauphin County, Pennsylvania, featured a XXX rated, adult porn film entitled Tobacco Roody.
The leader for the film stated the following:
He conquered the hills, piece by piece! and made them love every minute of it. Yall come now!

According to the ad pictured above (from a local newspaper), there were two showings, and “no one under 18 admitted – positive identification required.”
The Colonnade was owned at the time by Marvin Troutman (Martro), who ran it and other theaters in the Lykens Valley, including drive-ins at Halifax and Gratz. During this time period, all of the Martro Theatres, were showing porn films and residents of the valley who wanted to see family oriented movies had to travel a great distance to do so – or stay at home and watch television.
