A rare undated photograph of the Seashore Express at Millersburg, Dauphin County, Pennsylvania.
This train was operated by the Pennsylvania Railroad through Millersburg with connections at Harrisburg en route to Philadelphia and New York City. From dates found in old newspaper articles, operation occurred in the 1890s and in a few early years of the 20th century. The train usually left Harrisburg after 11:00 a.m. and arrived in Philadelphia at about 3:00 p.m. Connections could be made there for Atlantic City and Cape May, New Jersey.
Other than the script caption at the bottom of the photo, nothing in the photo seems to be identifiable from Millersburg.
