Nathan Hoy (1851-1932) – Retired Upper Paxton Township Farmer

NATHAN HOY BURIED SUNDAY

Nathan Hoy, age 80 years old, died at the home of his son, Harry U. Hoy, Millersburg, R.D. 1 last Thursday. He was a retired farmer, and had been suffering from a heart ailment about a year.

Survivors are three daughters and seven sons: Mrs. R. F. Lambert and Mrs. Jennie Warfel, of Millersburg; Mrs. Walter Wilbert and Lester J. Hoy, Harrisburg; Charles A. Hoy, Millersburg, R.D.2; Harry U. Hoy, Millersburg R.D. 1; Norman H. Hoy, John S. Hoy, Nevin F. Hoy, and Arthur Hoy, all of Millersburg. Forty-one grandchildren and ten great grandchildren also survive.

Funeral services were held from the Harry Hoy residence at 2:30 o’clock Sunday afternoon, with further services in Trinity Reformed Church, Millersburg. The pastor, Rev. C. R. Huyette and Rev. Stanley Baker of St. David’s Reformed Church, Killinger officiated and burial was made in Oak Hill Cemetery at Millersburg.
