Pearl [Monroe] Eby (1847-1947) – Widow of Lykens Wholesale Confectioner

 

MRS. PEARL EBY

Mrs. Pearl Eby died at her home in Lykens Tuesday evening.

Mrs. Eby was the widow of George Eby, who for many years conducted a wholesale confectionery business in Lykens.  She had been in ill health for some time.

A number of nieces survive.  Mrs. Eby was a member of the Methodist Church and the Order of the Eastern Star, of Lykens.

Funeral services will be held from the residence at 2 o’clock Friday afternoon.  Rev. W. W. Spiegelhalder, pastor of the Lykens Methodist Church will officiate and interment will be in the Wiconisco Cemetery.
